just to show the progress i thought i'd add the akira business cards again, there are a few changes that were asked for by the client.

i've been looking for a suitable background all day so i made my own, inspired by Hardwood w Lights by ~zyklophon

criticisms and comments still welcome

edit lens glare removed as requested!!! that is much better :)

AHHH! LENSFLARE! I think the lighting and the added touch of dark mahogany wood grain is great, lensflare bad. Take that shit out! XD It'll look less comical and have presence for the company name.

It looks great, I really like that matte black.

Hey !
There is nothing wrong about the design of the card.

About the background: the shadows of the card dont fall correctly. See the card that i made ( CreativeWitty ) in my gallery ... U'll see what i'm talking about.

damn you are right, my card looks like it's floating. how did you manage the lighting on yours, its effect looks like the card is slightly bent and real :)
